William Grant & Sons (WG&S), a family-owned company that distils Scotch whisky and other selected spirits based in Scotland, has named Kartik Mohindra as the Managing Director, India, effective 30 September.
He was the former Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Global Business Development at Pernod Ricard India and has over 26 years of experience as a senior leader in marketing and sales in the alcohol, beverage and FMCG sectors. In this role, he has been said to oversee brand extensions and innovation across categories like whiskies and wines, while also driving business performance, brand strategy, and global market expansion.
Sachin Mehta, Kartik’s predecessor, will be taking up an international role within the WG&S business as Managing Director, Canada. In the past nine years, he has worked on business growth, presence and leadership for its portfolio of premium spirits brands in India.
“These appointments reflect WG&S’s continued investment in key growth markets and a commitment to strengthening our global leadership team.
