This initiative aims to move beyond task-based bots toward intelligent agents capable of reasoning, autonomous action, and continuous learning.
According to the company, Agentic AI differs from traditional automation models by emphasising goal-based orchestration. Digital agents operating within this framework are designed to collaborate across systems, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing business conditions, minimising the need for constant human intervention. The Agentic GBS platform will integrate Deloitte's innovations in AI with UiPath's automation infrastructure to develop enterprise-scale automation solutions.

A recent Deloitte report cited that over 80 per cent of Indian organisations are actively exploring the development of autonomous agents, signalling a broader shift towards adopting Agentic AI technologies. By integrating robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, generative AI, and workflow orchestration, the Agentic GBS platform seeks to enable dynamic, end-to-end automation across key shared service functions such as finance, HR, IT, and supply chain.
