TATA Starbucks, to mark Friendship Day, has released a campaign titled #FromFirstsToForever, centred on the theme of evolving relationships.
Built on Starbucks belief in meaningful connections, the film is a tribute to friendships that grow through the everyday moments in our life (Source: linkedin)
The film presents everyday moments between friends who reconnect at a Starbucks café, using coffee as a recurring backdrop across different phases of their lives.
Set in a single Starbucks store, the narrative weaves together interactions between various groups—from younger patrons to colleagues and longtime friends—highlighting how social rituals like catching up over coffee play a role in maintaining personal connections. Rather than focusing on dramatic storytelling, the film opts for a slice-of-life approach to portray familiarity, routine, and shared experiences.
The campaign steers away from overt messaging, instead reflecting on how small, repeated gestures—like meeting over a beverage—can define enduring friendships.
Speaking on the campaign, Mitali Maheshwari, Head of Product and Marketing, TATA Starbucks, said, "At Starbucks, we have always believed in the power of connections. Our stores are more than coffeehouses; they are spaces where stories unfold, friendships form, and bonds deepen. This film is our heartfelt tribute to all kinds of friendships, whether the freshly brewing ones or those that have stood the test of time. It celebrates the everyday rituals that bind us, and the warmth of always having someone to share that next cup with."
