AWS appoints Milind Pande as Head of Marketing for India & South Asia

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has appointed Milind Pande as Head of Marketing for India and South Asia, a move aimed at strengthening its position in the region’s expanding cloud market.

Pande has over 16 years of experience across technology, media, and consulting, with expertise in B2B marketing, strategy, and business development. Most recently, he led the marketing function for the Independent Software Vendors segment at AWS India. In his new role, he will oversee brand positioning, demand generation, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies across industries and customer segments in India and South Asia.

Since joining AWS six years ago, Pande has served as Chief of Staff to the AWS India President and contributed to growth programs spanning sales and marketing. His prior experience includes managing technology security and enterprise risk at Vodafone India and leading corporate strategy and investor relations at Viacom18, part of JioStar—a joint venture between Reliance Industries, Viacom18, and Disney India.

Pande is also engaged in climate action and social impact initiatives. His appointment comes as cloud adoption in India accelerates, with businesses increasingly leveraging AI and cloud technologies for digital transformation.
