EY India has appointed Gaurav Bhalotia as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With over two decades of leadership in product, engineering, and AI-driven systems, he will spearhead the firm’s innovation and technology strategy, strengthening its digital assets and transformation capabilities.

EY India has announced the appointment of Gaurav Bhalotia as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, he will oversee the firm’s innovation and technology strategy, collaborating with client service and product teams to strengthen and scale its portfolio of software-driven solutions (“digital assets”).

Gaurav brings over 20 years of experience in technology leadership, large-scale systems, machine learning, and product strategy. Before joining EY India, he was the CTO of Udaan, a B2B e-commerce platform, where he led product, engineering, data science, design, and infrastructure, creating the technology backbone that enabled rapid scale-up. He has also served as Vice President of Engineering at Flipkart, contributing to the company’s early technology architecture, including customer platforms and product stacks for discovery, web, and merchandising.
